There are many reasons why an individual may seek counselling:
- anxiety
- low mood/depression
- grief and loss
- life transitions
- family/whanau issues
- spiritual questions
- etc.
My approach to counselling is person-centered and strengths based. Building positive relationships with my clients is extremely important in order to work collaboratively to explore, and clarify whatever challenges they may be facing. It’s a privilege to be able to journey with each person in order to help them reach their personal goals. Each session is adapted to meet the client(s) needs. The end goal of our time together would be to see individuals, and families reach a place of greater wellness and peace. This can happen through improved communication, reduction in anxiety, improved mood, etc. The desire to see people find peace and clarity in challenging areas of their lives is a driving factor in my counselling practice
